Make sure you pay or defer your Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) before sanctions are put on your student record. Sanctions will prevent you from accessing certain services including enrolment, LMS, results, or graduation. The sanctions will be cleared once you pay or defer the fee.
What is SSAF?
The SSAF is a compulsory fee to cover non-academic support services such as:
- legal services
- careers advice
- financial advice
- child care
- independent student representation.
How much do I have to pay?
$145 if you’re a Full-time student each semester
$109 if you’re a Part-time student each semester
You can also defer the payment by filling out a SA-HELP scheme (similar to HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP). To apply for SA-HELP, fill out a SA-HELP eCAF form in StudentOnLine. Click the eCAF tab and carefully read the instructions. The form must include your Tax File Number.
