Something BIG is coming to the Agora next week, and it’s bound to attract some attention.
The Agora Big Screen aims to connect our campus community by using visual content to highlight La Trobe people, information, ideas, events and success stories. The content will be informative, entertaining and aims to be a week-by-week snapshot of what students need to know. Work to install the screen will take place in the Agora this week, and will be completed on Friday 10 June.
Ever-changing and up-to-date, programming will focus on three core themes:
- information and support for students
- celebrating La Trobe success stories
- promoting post graduate study options
As a high impact visual communication channel, the Agora Big Screen will draw from existing channels such La Trobe websites and social media channels, as well as direct submissions our community of staff and students.
Content will include:
- moving images
- scrolling text
- social media feeds
The Agora Big Screen Pilot project will run from June until the end of Semester Two 2016, and will be managed by the Internal Communications team.
All staff and students are invited to submit content. To make a content submission please visit the Agora Big Screen submission webpage.
