Do you have the latest Big Idea?

big idea awWe are proud to support the Australian Futures Project (AFP’s), My Big Idea, a world-first initiative with the aim of sparking a deeper national conversation about Australia’s future, based on shared values and supporting action.

All Australians are invited to participate by sharing their ideas on ways to improve many aspects of our society, with the top 10 ideas developed through to concept phase and potentially produced into a tangible product or service.

Here at La Trobe we are helping to lead the My Big Idea process by running brainstorming sessions across all campuses.

Our first successful session was held in Albury Wodonga on Tuesday 14 June. The session unearthed a number of inspiring ideas including a Lifestyle Assessment app, which will calculate the long term cost (time and money) and lifestyle impact of living close to or far from work, living in a big house vs a little house, for example.

How you can get involved:

There are numerous ways you can get involved and we encourage as many staff as possible to attend one of the following sessions:
