Tickets to the La Trobe Lawn Lunch – on sale now!

The La Trobe Lawn Lunch will officially kick start La Trobe’s 50th Anniversary celebrations for 2017.

We will celebrate a strong history of social inclusion and diversity through food, film, live music and a Speaker’s Corner all taking place right alongside the University’s beloved watercourse –the Moat.  It will be a great opportunity to reminisce and reflect on the radical beginnings of the University, share and celebrate your favourite La Trobe stories with old friends and colleagues and perhaps start a new conversation about where our next 50 year journey might take us.

A diverse range of entertainment curated and performed by alumni, staff and students whilst the Undercroft lecture theatre will be converted into film central running continuous short films, documentaries and clips from the past 50 years.

The University has engaged nine social enterprise caterers with strong connections with La Trobe and alignment with our values.  They will be serving up a range of delicious meals honouring the cultural diversity of our University.
