The International Student Volunteering program run by La Trobe International (LTI) and Careers and Employability aims to enhance your learning and cultural experience; build resilience and professional skill development; and develop employability, whilst valuing cultural exchange and reciprocity.
This is the first in a series of three workshops to be run throughout the year, to learn about the importance and benefits of volunteering, to support you to engage with the community and gain work experience in Australia, and to help you develop your portfolio to demonstrate your newly acquired skills. You will also gain a Career Management block by attending each workshop (so 3 in total), plus you will earn blocks for completing any volunteering hours.
For catering purposes, you must register to attend the first session.
Thursday 6 April
