InPlace upgrade for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and Placements

Placements are central to graduate employability, enabling you to acquire critical experience and in many areas providing you with mandatory accreditation for entry into your field of expertise.

Nursing, Education and others are all using software to help you choose, view and manage your placements.  That software – InPlace  – has now been updated to ensure user friendly improvements!

We have upgraded to the latest version of the software in InPlace. If you struggle with anything, have a look at the quick guides available in the Student handbook.

The new version also has a smartphone and tablet / iPad friendly version that can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Not all features are available in the mobile view. Select Full View to ensure access to all InPlace functionalities.

InPlace creates a central hub between all participants at any time of the day or night. It allows you track the progress of your upcoming placements via your desktop, laptop, smart phone or tablet.

A link to the InPlace system is available on the Student webpage under Study Tools. Click on Staff and Students option and enter your Student ID and Password to access the system. Access is based on your enrolments.

It is now easier access to your placement information. InPlace allows you instant access to your allocated placement information anywhere, anytime on any device. The system has a number of other benefits including:

  • view your placement verification information, which will be updated weekly
  • linked to Google Maps allowing easy navigation to and from placements.
  • access contact information for supervisors and Agencies to contact in case of emergency
