Are you a Business and Commerce student currently studying or interested in Human Resource Management? Regardless of your level of study – Generation HR is for you!
Generation HR is organised by The Australian Human Resource Institute’s (AHRI) La Trobe Student Ambassadors in collaboration with Careers & Employability – proudly sponsored by La Trobe Business School.
AHRI is a national association representing human resource and people management professionals. Through its student ambassadors, AHRI works closely with industry representatives and La Trobe University’s students to promote employability skills and awareness around the HR sector.
Thursday 12 October
12:30 – 2:30pm
This event will assist Business and Commerce students to evaluate their career options upon graduation and learn about the benefits of being a member of their professional association.
Therefore, if you are unsure about where you stand in the workforce, have concerns around employer perception, require a stepping-stone to your ideal job, or simply want to meet and network with fellow students and professionals from your sector, you should attend Generation HR.
Have your questions answered by experts so that you understand what hurdles to expect and are able to overcome them in the workforce. For HR students, in particular, this is an opportunity to understand some of the important job roles, functions, issues, and career pathways, which are available.
You’ll also interact with:
- HR Representative from Pitcher Partners
- Member Services Coordinator AHRI
- La Trobe Alumna and Founder of Acquire HR
