The Teaching Room Refresh project has concluded in time for the beginning of semester. Focusing on the improvement of teaching spaces, in particular the Computer Labs to enhance your student experience.
An audit of Computer Labs throughout the Melbourne and Bendigo campuses was conducted and focused on the replacement of chairs, blinds, carpets, paintwork, lighting (if not working), whiteboards and room access (if installation of security swipe card reader was required).
Refurbishments have been completed at the following Bundoora Computer Labs:
- PS1 Level 2 (1 room), Level 3 (1 room)
- HU2 Level 1 (1 room)
- BS2 Level 1 (3 rooms)
- ED2 Level 2 (1 room)
- HS3 Level 4 (2 rooms)
In addition to these works, some minor upgrades were also completed:
- Twenty-six (26) additional teaching spaces across various buildings at the Bendigo campus and twenty-one (21) teaching spaces across various buildings at the Bundoora campus received new blinds
- Three (3) teaching spaces at Peribolos West level 2 and six (6) teaching spaces in Humanities 3 level 4 received new carpet
- A large quantity of furniture was also recently replaced in Glenn College Admin Level 2 teaching spaces
A larger scale Teaching Facilities Improvement Project is currently underway which also focuses on improvements to centrally bookable flat floor teaching spaces across the Bundoora and Bendigo Campuses. The Project is forecast for overall completion in 2019.
