International Student Barometer 2018

Your feedback matters!

The International Student Barometers (ISB) is the world’s largest student survey providing benchmarks for international student satisfaction of the whole study experience. More than 1400 universities and colleges in 28 countries have adopted the ISB, collecting and comparing feedback from over 2 million students to date.

In 2017, more than 145,354 international students from 185 universities worldwide participated in the survey including 16 Australian universities and more than 25 000 international students.

At La Trobe University we greatly value the feedback and views of our international students to help improve support services, facilities and the overall experience of studying at La Trobe. The survey is centered on four main areas: arrival, learning, living, and support.

Feedback helps us make practical improvements and past feedback has resulted in a number of improvements including a new approach to processing new students on arrival, and improved communication to students. Previous surveys have highlighted the importance of state of the art learning facilities and at La Trobe we have been pleased to continue the investment in new infrastructure to enhance your student experience.

The 2018 International Student Barometer opens on 12 April and will remain open until 3 May 2018. There are some great prizes to be won including an i-pad, $1,000 cash prize, merchandise packs and lunch vouchers.

We greatly value your voice and your feedback. If you have any questions about the ISB please contact La Trobe International Student Services on (03) 9479 1199.
