We’re is excited to offer a third year elective subject in partnership with industry: SHE3INC Industry Innovation Challenge. Partnering with the Victorian State Emergency Service (VICSES) for Winter 2018 (2 – 13 July), you’ll work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions on the topic – A Sustainable VICSES to Safeguard Victoria’s Future. This challenge will focus on innovation in volunteerism, workforce development and service delivery to ensure that VICSES provides timely and effective emergency management services, builds community preparedness, disaster resilience and contributes to risk prevention. Open to students from both ASSC and SHE Colleges and will be held at Bundoora.

Increase your employability skills – volunteer for the Australian Human Resource Institute’s (AHRI) National Convention
The Australian HR Institute (AHRI) is the national association representing human resource and people management professionals. They have over 20,000 members from Australia and across the globe.
The AHRI National Convention and Exhibition is AHRI’s flagship event attracting approximately 3,000 attendees. This year the Convention is being held at the MCEC from 28 – 30 August (you must be available on the evening of the 27 August for a briefing).
We’re seeking Melbourne based volunteers who are available for a variety of roles and shifts from Tuesday 28 August to Friday 31 August and who are passionate about events and are keen to gain some direct experience. Open to students from all disciplines.
