A message from the Vice-Chancellor

We are well into Semester 2 so it’s a great time to reach out for help with study skills. There is learning support from qualified experts and experienced students now available on every campus.

Learning support to help with exams, English skills, writing and general study skills is now available via The Learning Hub.

In the Semester 1 forums, you told us this is what you needed. So we listened and are pleased to offer these opportunities to take your studies to the next level.

Students on every campus are welcome to drop in, make a booking, or attend a workshop. More information about the Learning Hub, Maths Hub and Chemistry Hub can be found on The Learning Hub LMS.

Team La Trobe at the ONJ Wellness Walk and Run

On Sunday 16 September, the Melbourne Campus (Bundoora) is hosting the annual Olivia Newton-John Wellness Walk and Research Run.

All students, family and friends are welcome to sign up as members of Team La Trobe. By doing so, you will get a free running singlet and access to an exclusive marquee on the day that features water, snacks, music, a chill-out area and a bag drop zone. You will also go in the draw to win a signed 2018 Melbourne Rebels jersey.

The Wellness Walk and Run supports the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre which undertakes cutting-edge research to develop treatments for breast cancer, bowel cancer, lung cancer, brain cancer, lymphoma and melanoma.

I hope to see you there!
